A New Online Home for Chestnut Growers of America

Chestnut Growers of America (CGA) has a fresh new online home and refreshed logo. And, and it’s built for where this industry is headed next. The new CGA website is designed to welcome curious landowners, support working growers, and give researchers and ag professionals a clear window into the momentum building around chestnuts in the U.S. Instead of feeling like a static brochure, it’s a living hub that reflects an industry growing in acres, sophistication, and opportunity.

We’ve even moved to a new address: www.chestnutgrowersofamerica.com. The goal is to make it easier for anyone—growers, partners, and especially consumers—to find us, remember us, and share us.

Just as important, the new site is built with consumers in mind. We want people who are discovering chestnuts at the grocery store, farmers market, or online to quickly find trustworthy information and real growers behind the products they buy. Features like the interactive grower map, recipes, and product highlights are all aimed at helping consumers connect directly with chestnut farms, understand how to use chestnuts in their kitchens, and see the diversity of chestnut products being developed across the country.

From the moment you arrive, the site makes it easier to do the things people come to CGA for most: learn about chestnuts, explore membership, and find practical information that can shape on-the-ground decisions. Clear navigation, straightforward language, and focused pages help you move quickly from “I’m interested” to “here’s what I can do next,” whether that’s joining CGA, connecting with other growers, or diving into technical resources.

The new site is also about showing who we are as a community. Stronger visuals, better photography, and more space for grower stories give chestnuts the professional, modern presentation they deserve. This matters when members share the site with lenders, partners, potential customers, or media—it sends a simple message: this is a serious crop with a serious national organization behind it.

Most importantly, the new CGA website is built for growth. It’s ready to host an expanding Resources Library, more member tools, and new ways to stay informed as research and field experience evolve. A new blog, launching in fall 2026, will add timely updates and voices from across the country, helping connect the dots between technical information, consumer interest, and real-world practice.

We built the new CGA website to make it easier for people who care about chestnuts—growers, consumers, and partners—to find each other, learn faster, and feel confident that they are part of something that’s just getting started. It’s one more step toward a more connected, informed, and resilient chestnut industry in the United States.
